Important Enrolment Information
Enrolment into any one or more of our courses is by submission of the Enrolment Form. Prior to enrolling, please read the following carefully.
Services
Information on services that we provide is available on our website and in the Prospectus – if you require additional information, or if anything is not entirely clear, please get in touch with us via email. Prior to enrolling into your chosen course, ensure you have a full understanding of all details relating to the course.
Assessment
To complete our courses, you are required to successfully complete all required assessments. Assessments of units will generally be conducted after the Term in which the unit is delivered and may include both theoriticaland practical components – some assessments may be conducted during the Term.
Additional or alternative assessment processes, if any, will be explained to you during the relevant Term. Should you have any additional questions regarding your assessment process or have any concerns please get in touch with us by email.
Should you wish to undertake RPL please get in touch with us via email prior to enrolment.
Support Services and Special Needs
We aim to ensure reasonable support for you throughout your course. If at any point throughout your course you require assistance or support please discuss these needs with us and we will try to help you. If you have any special needs, including language, literacy, numeracy, mobility, visual impairment or hearing, or any other disability that could limit your ability to undertake the course, please notify us prior to enrolment to allow us to cater for your needs. If you do not tell us of any condition that may affect your learning, we will not be able to assist you if the need arises. This may impact on your ability to finish the course.
Your Rights
You have various rights. Please refer to the Prospectus for more information. We want to ensure your time spent with us is both beneficial and enjoyable. If at any point you feel harassed, discriminated or feel abused, please notify the Director immediately. If you feel you the need to complain about any aspect of service you may do so verbally or in writing. Appeals on any decision made by us may be lodged with the Director and must be done so in writing. If required you can gain access to your records by contacting the Director.
Refund Policy
We have safeguards and fair options in place for any money paid in advance and guarantee that once you have commenced your course you will be provided with every opportunity to complete the course. In the event that a course is cancelled, whilst in progress, due to circumstances beyond our control, we will provide you with a refund of fees on hold or offer to transfer you to another course. We will refund a pro rata proportion of any money paid by you and not yet used for the delivery and assessment of the course, in the event we cancel or discontinue a course.
Withdrawal and Refunds
If you withdraw from a course after your enrolment has been confirmed, and within 4 weeks of the commencement date, you will forfeit any fees paid, including any enrolment fees and any course fees. If you withdraw from a course due to illness, (verified by a medical certificate and within 5 days of course commencement) we will refund any course fees paid less any enrolment fee and 15% of your course cost. Should you withdraw for any other reason other than illness and within 5 days of course commencement, you will be liable to 50% of the course cost. Should you withdraw from the course after 5 days, or if you fail to commence the course you will forfeit all money paid and be liable for the full course cost.
Unique Student Identifier (USI)
As of January 1st 2015, if you are an Australia citizen or resident, or are otherwise in Australia whilst undertaking the course, you are required to provide us with your USI. If you do not have one, you authorise us to search and check on your behalf, and if required to apply for the USI for you. We will provide you a copy with the relevant documentation. Media Release
We may take video or photographs for use in promotional activity. These will remain our property and will not be sold to any third party. By enrolling with us, you acknowledge your consent to this. Should you wish to view or purchase copies of any such materials outside the normal distribution, this request should be made in writing to the Director.
Rules and Regulations
To graduate from your enrolled course, you must be able to fulfil the following obligations.

Demonstrate through assessment that required skills have been obtained at a competant level

Comply with your administrative and financial obligations to us
You must promptly notify us of any change of name, address and contact details and notify the Director of anything that may stop you from completing the course. You may be suspended or expelled at the Director’s discretion for failure to comply with our policies and procedures or serious misconduct.
Prospectus
Prior to enrolling, you must read the Prospectus in full.
Do not complete the online enrolment form if you have not understood the above requirements and those outlined in the Prospectus. If required, please ask us to explain or provide further written information on any of the above before enrolling.
Further Requirements
We retain ultimate discretion as to whether or not your enrolment is accepted and may require you to provide additional information, undertake enrolment tests in writing, in person or over telephone or other media, and may reject your enrolment application if we believe that based on our policies you do not possess the required vocational or academic abilities to successfully complete your studies with us. To finalise your enrolment, we may also require you to verify your identity by providing us with certified copies of a government issued identification with a photograph, or allowing us to view the original through media, providing us with certified copies of academic or other records of your past studies, as well as a curriculum vitae. Where appropriate, we may also ask you to obtain written confirmation from your employer confirming that the employer shall assist with the collection of evidence in relation to any observation requirements including completing reports in relation to the observation.
